Alnwick Garden Party Queen’s Award Presentation

Wednesday 15th June 2022, Alnwick Gardens
Representatives of the Berwick and District Cancer Support Group proudly attended the Lord-Lieutenant’s Garden Party for Volunteers and Carers, where they were presented with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for volunteer groups, at the official ceremony at Alnwick Gardens.
The presentation was made by the Duchess of Northumberland, Cancer Cars Chair, Andrew Smith, accepted the crystal award and certificate, signed by Her Majesty the Queen, on behalf of all the Berwick and District Cancer Support Group volunteers.
A very proud day for our charity and a proud day for the Berwick and District community, who’s amazing supporters help ensure the continuation of our free cancer transport service for its residents.
