Hillside Olympic Torch Reaches Berwick Cancer Cars
π₯π The spirit of the Olympics is alive at Hillside Lodge Care Home as the residents have crafted a stunning Olympic Torch to honour the upcoming games in Paris! π«π· The torch is making its way through over 70 businesses and organisations in Berwick, spreading joy and celebration along the route. Today, we were honored to receive the torch from our friends at Berwick Trust, and it was a privilege to pass it on to the wonderful team at HospiceCare North Northumberland. Pictured is our ‘Olympic Receiving Team’, Vicky Hunter, Rowena Redgwell, Dave Dog, Andrew Smith, and Roger Peaple. We can’t wait for the torch to return home to Hillside Lodge on Saturday, July 20th! A massive thank you to Rachael Howlett, events manager at Hillside for her incredible organisation. Let’s keep the Olympic spirit burning bright! π₯π
