Goswick Community Grants Fund Presentation Jan 2023

We were delighted to be chosen alongside other local charities to receive a donation of £500 from the first ever Goswick Community Grant Programme. Berwick Cancer Cars representatives Ann Short (Trustee and Funding Applications) and Roger Peaple (Media) met with Goswick Golf Club representatives Sandra McGonigle, Keith Martin (General Manager), Mark (Men’s Captain) and Dan Miler (Marketing Manager).

The Goswick Community Grant is a brand new initiative set up to help Berwick’s local charities –

“In an effort to give back to the surrounding community that has supported Goswick Golf Links over its more than 130-year history, the club has created a new fund that will be awarded to charitable organisations that operate within Berwick Upon Tweed in the form of grants up to £500 each.

These organisations’ commitment to their causes is inspiring and their gratitude for the club’s generosity and support is heartfelt. As we see it, our grants — funded by visitor green fees — are the least we can do to give back to the community that has been so good to Goswick.”
