Berwick Cancer Cars nominated for two awards at the 2022 North Northumberland Voluntary and Community Awards

Tonight volunteers from Berwick Cancer Cars will be present at this year’s North Northumberland Voluntary and Community Awards ceremony at Berwick Rugby Club, Scremerston, as we have been nominated for two awards :
Driver and Vehicle Manager, Tom Matthewson has been nominated for “The Lady Rose Crossman Lifetime Achievement award – Awarded to an unpaid individual who for the last 10 years or more has made a major contribution to the voluntary sector and is a true inspiration to others, going significantly beyond the normal expected involvement.”
And as a charity the Berwick & District Cancer Support Group, Berwick Cancer Cars has been nominated for the “Grassroots award – Awarded to groups who have volunteers only and no paid staff and have been established for at least 12 months.”
