Celebrating International Women’s Day 2023
8th March 2023 : International Women’s Day 2023.
In 1992 two amazing ladies, Violet Carter and Kathleen Horsburgh, got together and formed what was to become the Berwick & District Cancer Support Group. For over 30 years our female volunteers, alongside their male counterparts, have played and continue to play integral roles in shaping and furthering our charity.
Today, on International Women’s Day, Berwick Cancer Cars very proudly celebrates its women drivers, women client coordinators, women fundraisers, women committee members and women trustees, each of whom generously give so much of their time volunteering to help the lives of others in our community.
