Eddie Mullins chose Berwick Cancer Cars as his Charity during his year as The Sheriff of Berwick-upon-Tweed 2022/2023 and support us he did. With Sheriff’s Lady Lesley Bruce they became amazing ambassadors for our cars. During the year Eddie raised money for us through many different events including ‘The National Association of City and Town’s Sheriffs of England and Wales’ Annual General Meeting and Conference Weekend 2022′ hosted in Berwick (https://www.sheriffsofenglandandwales.org/upcoming-berwick-upon-tweed-2022) and his annual walk from Holy Island in memory of his beloved Sister Margie.

In total (with Gift Aid Donations) Eddie raised a huge £5,000 making up the last £30 himself. Eddie’s support and enthusiasm for our Town and our Charity is a credit to us all.

During 2022/2023 we were also supported by The Town Mayor, Mike Greener, and alongside The Berwick Swan and Wildlife Trust also raised over £800 each.

Thank you Eddie, Lesley and the Civic Party for your support.
