Holy Island to Berwick Walk for Margie

Each year Eddie Docherty Mullins, along with family and friends, organises a walk from Holy Island to Berwick in remembrance of Margie Nicholl. The walk is usually scheduled to coincide with Margie’s birthday in June, sadly, and for obvious reasons, it was not possible this year at that time. We are thrilled to report however that Eddie has re-scheduled this very touching event, setting a new date for Sunday 18th October 2020.

Anyone wishing to join Eddie will be very welcome, meeting at the main car park on Holy Island at 0900hrs. Note that strict social distancing will be observed. This is a linear walk of approx 14 miles; start point Holy Island and end point Spittal, Berwick upon Tweed. The walk, which will include a refreshment stop at the Goswick Golf Course, is expected to take approximately 4-5 hours.

Note : The Holy Island causeway safe crossing times for Sunday 18th October 2020 are 0850hrs until 1355hrs.

All proceeds from Eddie’s fundraising event will go to helping our Cars, for which we are truly grateful.
