Ryan Renton Fund Presentation

Our enormous gratitude to the Renton family and Tweedmouth Amateurs FC for their kindness and generosity in their continued support for cancer care organisations. The Tweedmouth Amateurs FC fundraising team held Six-a-Sides & Family Fun Day and raised an incredible £5461 for the ‘Ryan Renton Fund’. £4000 was donated to The Northern Centre for Cancer Care (Wards 33 and 34 at the Freeman Hospital) and £1461 donated to Berwick Cancer Cars to help our volunteers continue to provide our free cancer patient transport service for cancer related appointments and treatments. Ryan’s mum and dad, Tracey and Brian Renton, came along to support our recent Berwick Cancer Cars Bingo Night and were kind enough to pose for a photo with some of our team of volunteers. We have been so pleased to have been able to help Ryan and his family, and so grateful for all the support they give our Cars.

Since hosting our Six-a-Sides & Family Fun Day, we have continued to accept donations that have bumped up our total by £1,000! We can’t thank everyone enough who has played their part in raising an incredible amount of money for two incredible causes; Berwick Cancer Cars & Ward 33/34 at the Newcastle upon Tyne Freeman Hospital.
