Shortlisted for ‘Small Charity of The Year 2020’
We are absolutely thrilled to have been chosen as a shortlisted finalist as ‘Small Charity of the Year’ in the prestigious 2020 North East Charity Awards. The Awards are designed to recognise the hard work and innovative thinking by charities and individual fundraisers across the whole of the Northeast.
As with many events, this year’s awards will take place ‘virtually’, with the winners being announced live on Tuesday 3rd December across social media platforms. We hope you all join the team at the Berwick Cancer Cars in brushing off your smartest tuxedos and glitziest ball gowns on the night to join the ‘virtual’ event!
A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to our good friend and client, Betty Green, for nominating us for which we feel truly honoured! For the panel of judges to select us as finalists from a list of hundreds, along with Beach Access North East and Easington Lane Community Access Point, is a most wonderful accolade and recognition for the tireless efforts of all our amazing volunteers and for our bari little town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Fingers and toes crossed!!
