Brewers Arms Bingo Night Raises over £2000 for JoJo Craig and our Cars

Margaret Straughan and her team at the Brewers Arms, Berwick organized a bingo night along with a raffle & tombola with lots of fantastic prizes. The special fundraiser event was held in aid of our Cars and wee 7 year old Joseph Craig, an incredible brave local boy with leukaemia and who is undergoing treatment for cancer at Great North Children’s hospital.

On the night the super Brewers Arms staff and patrons raised over £2000 which they split between the wonderfully brave ‘JoJo’ and Berwick Cancer Cars. Margaret is such a great friend of the town and recently received an honour for her kindness from the sheriff on behalf of the Queen and said of the fundraising event “Together we can help these people find comfort in their toughest times!!”
