Martin’s Epic Cycle Challenge – Lands End to John O’Groats for Berwick Cancer Cars

Cycling over 1000 Miles in 22 Days, the entire length of Great Britain – that’s the epic journey Martin Arthur aged 63, has take on. Currently living in Lincoln but moving to Coldstream to be closer to his family, Martin’s personal challenge was decided when he and his wife Helen, herself an ex Berwick Academy teacher and who is providing unstinting car support for Martin, found they had a three week house move gap to ‘fill’. Their daughter, Rhonwen, suggested he rode for charity and we were thrilled when he chose us, to help us keep our volunteer lead service running, providing free hospital transportation for cancer related patients for the people of Berwick & District.
