Nancy’s Dancers Raise £1000 at The Maltings for our Cars!

Our enormous gratitude to local ‘legendary’ dance teacher, and fantastic friend to our charity, Nancy Steele and her wonderful students ‘Nancy’s Dancers’ who recently returned to The Maltings after a much anticipated three year wait.

Nancy’s Dancers, aged 4-18, from Berwick and the Borders, performed two sell-out shows on the 18th and 19th June, their Maltings summer 2022 showcase featured an exciting mix of traditional highland, tap and modern dance.

Nancy kindly invited Cancer Cars representatives along to both nights to hold collections and our Chair, Andrew Smith, was invited up on stage to say a few words and to show the audience our smart crystal ‘Queens Award for Voluntary Service’. Over the two nights, Nancy’s Dancers raised a fantastic £966.50 and Nancy (being the amazing lady she is!) topped this up to £1000! Our enormous gratitude to the Maltings and to the Maltings audience who so generously filled our collecting buckets.
