Great support from Mike at North East Mobility Training Solutions

Berwick Cancer Cars - North East Mobility Solutions Wheelchair Training

Many thanks to Mike Jones, Company Director of North East Mobility Solutions who so kindly and generously provided free wheelchair training to our Volunteer Drivers.

The training took place over two days, ensuring that as many of our drivers as possible were able to attend at Mike’s Berwick Ramparts Business Park head office.

Mike, who’s mobility showrooms are located in Walkergate, Berwick and Henderson Street, Edinburgh, said of the sessions:

“I would just like to say it was my pleasure to have the drivers over for the wheelchair training, hopefully the all took a little away about wheelchair safety for themselves and the wheelchair user.

Having lived in Berwick since I was at school it’s brilliant to be able to offer the support to a local based charity. I have watched Berwick Cancer Cars grow over the years and all the amazing volunteers giving up their time. Myself and the whole team at North East Mobility Solutions are super proud to be able to offer the support and training to Berwick Cancer Cars.”
