North Star Adult Centre Raises £600 For Our Cars

🎉🎄 A Huge Thank You to The North Star Adult Learning Centre! 🎄🎉

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to The North Star Adult Learning Centre in Berwick upon Tweed for hosting an incredible Christmas Concert in aid of our Cars. It was an afternoon filled with joy, music, and the true spirit of giving.

The concert showcased the phenomenal talents of the ‘Shindiggers Drumming Group’ and ‘The Makaton Silent Sounds Group’. Their performances were nothing short of sensational, captivating the audience and filling the ‘Northern View’ with infectious energy.

One of the highlights of the concert was our very own Andrew, who mesmerised everyone by performing a soul-stirring rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ on his Bagpipes. To add an extra touch of magic, three members of the Makaton Group accompanied him, using sign language to give the Finale an uplifting and inclusive feel (a few emotional tears were shed!).

Thanks to the overwhelming support and generosity of everyone who attended, we are thrilled to announce that a staggering total of £600 was raised during the event. This amount will go a long way in supporting the invaluable work of Berwick Cancer Cars, making a significant difference in the lives of those battling cancer in our community. Your dedication to adult education and community support is truly commendable.
