Our 30th Anniversary Medals Sponsored by JH Greenwood
Our huge thanks to Mark McLeman and his colleagues at JH Greenwood for so generously sponsoring our 30th Anniversary Medals. We wanted to say a special ‘thank you’ to a number of our special sporting Cancer Cars fundraisers this year who have done so much to support us and Mark very kindly made contact to say he’d like to help us achieve this!
We decided on sustainable wooden medals made in the shape of a car (but of course!) with our smart new 30th Anniversary logo on the front and the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service logo on the back to celebrate us winning the award this year! Our first fundraising recipients to receive their medals were our Great North Run team runners who were handed their medals at our September charity GNR presentation evening.
Berwick Cancer Cars Great North Run team admins Roger and Robert met with JH Greenwood Directors Mark McLeman and Gareth Greenwood at their Berwick office to say a big ‘thank you’ for their kindness and support. Pictured are Mark, Robert and Gareth. Thank you to Daniella Mae for her inspirational input and for coming up with so many great medal design ideas!
