Please Welcome Alex To The Fleet
We loved reading all your name suggestions for our two new cars, but today we can reveal the name of one of them.
We are so greatly supported by Liz Fairbairn and her team at Boots Opticians, and over the years they have raised over £10,000 for Berwick Cancer Cars. Recently, their fundraising efforts got them a special commendation at the Boots “Best of the Best” awards, where they got down to the final four out of the hundreds of Boots Opticians nationwide.
All of us at Cancer Cars decided as a thank you for all the fundraising they have done, and as a fitting tribute to their colleague Alex Hassing who sadly passed away last year, would be to call one of our new cars Alex.
Liz and her team, alongside Guy Flannigan from Tweedmouth Service Station, joined us at our Tweed St HQ for car Alex’s name reveal.
We couldn’t do what we do without the support we get from everyone who donates and raises money for us, we cannot thank you enough.
