Tweedmouth Bowing Club Killer Bowls Raises £2460 in memory of Carol

Yet again Tweedmouth Bowling Club has surpassed themselves with another magnificent amount raised in memory of the amazing Carol Ditchfield. Fond memories of Carol will never be forgotten by her friends as they continually raise money for our cars through Carol’s very own idea, ‘Killer Bowls’. Two events were perfectly organised and attended and everyone had an amazing day of fun, laughs and competing with just one bowl!

The finalists were Angela Winson, Angeline Welsh, Susan Lee, Margaret Laidlaw, Betty Dryden and Shona McClymont, with Angeline being the worthy winner of the ladies day. Men’s winner was Richard Brown. £375 donation from one of the clubs members was also added from his surprise birthday bash, thank you Trevor Atkins.

Thank you to the members of Tweedmouth Bowling Club and all who came along to support. Special mention must go to Dougie Cranston, Betty Dryden, Margaret Hamilton and Irene Mavin.
