Berwick Galedin Vets ‘Team Dippers’ Raise £2190 for Cancer Cars

Many thanks to Berwick-upon-Tweed’s Galedin Vets who formed a team to take part in the 2021 Boxing Day Dip. Lauren Vallance initiated the idea of putting together a team for the annual Spittal Beach Boxing Day Dip event and it was Angela Brown who suggested they did so in aid of Berwick Cancer Cars. What started off as a fun dip eventually turned into an amazing fundraising event with £2145.00 being raised through their Galedin Vet Team JustGiving pages and a further £45 donated by Galedin Vet clients at their Berwick veterinary practice.

We are so grateful to all the brave Galedin Vet Boxing Day Dip team : ‘Team Captain’ Angela Brown, ‘Instigator’ Lauren Vallance, Clare Lackenby, Naomi Coxon, Emily Hay, Gillian Mclachlan, Julie Gray, Jenny Vallance, Helen Hudson and Tommy Brown. We popped along to meet Angela and some of her team along with one of our Cars ‘Emma’ to say ‘thank you’ to them on behalf of all our volunteers.
