Fond Farewell to Mutiny, Warm Welcome Roddy!
Saturday 4th December, 2021. Today we said a very fond farewell to ‘Mutiny’, one of our fantastic team of hard-working cars. Mutiny, named after our very special friends Plundering Pirates of the North East for their amazingly generous support, has driven over 85,500 miles, safely carrying cancer patients to hospitals all over our region and far beyond, most notably Manchester to take one of our clients for specialist cancer treatment, which needed two of our amazing volunteer drivers.
We are thrilled to introduce you all to our very special new addition, ‘Roddy’, it’s our first Subaru and we are delighted to be able continue our relationship with Tweedmouth Service Station Mitsubishi & Subaru.
Pictured is Guy from Tweedmouth Service Station with our Vehicle Fleet Manager Tom Matthewson proudly taking possession on behalf of Berwick Cancer Cars, watched by our new Vice Chair, and Driver, Gillian Mitchell and our Chair, Andrew Smith. We will miss Mutiny but we’re so very excited to have Roddy on board and joining our team.
A huge thank you to all our amazing supporters for making this possible.
