Mayor’s Achievement Award for our Tom

Tom Matthewson Mayor's Achievement Award Berwick Cancer Cars Driver and Vehicle Manager

Friday 17th March 2023, we are delighted to announce our driver and vehicle manager Tom Matthewson was one of the recipients of the inaugural Berwick-upon-Tweed Town Mayor’s Achievement Award.

As Tom was unable to attend the presentation ceremony at the Guild Hall, his award was gratefully received by Cancer Cars Chair, Andrew Smith. Also representing Berwick Cancer Cars to celebrate Tom’s achievement were Cancer Cars volunteers Ann Short, Trustee and Roger Peaple, Media and Committee Member.

Huge congratulations Tom from all his fellow volunteer colleagues at Berwick Cancer Cars in recognition for his outstanding service to the Berwick & District community!

Many thanks to Andrew Green for sending us and for kindly allowing us to use his photos of the event.
