Spittal Bowling Club £1000 Donation

Our fantastic friends at Spittal Bowling Club have raised another £1000 for our Cars through their weekly meat raffle which is brilliantly organised by Graeme Burn (he loves doing them!) Cancer Cars representatives met with Graeme and Spittal Bowling Club President Ben Gunn to receive their very kind donation and to thank everybody for their continued generosity. Graeme tells us they’re hoping to raise another £1000 for us by the end of Summer – how wonderful!!

The Spittal Bowling Club team once again looked after the “Boxing Day Dippers”, many of whom were raising funds for charities including Berwick Cancer Cars, the club provided the crazy North Sea dippers with hot soup and changing facilities – amazing kindness and thoughtfulness as there would have been a lot of sand to hoover up afterwards!
